You wasted precious months when you could've taken action to protect Americans & Illinoisans. You should be leading a national response instead of throwing tantrums from the back seat. Where were the tests when we needed them? Where's the PPE? Get off Twitter & do your job.

I am amazed to see - sadly hardly surprised - to see several so-called top ranked institutions (you guess) continuing elective surgery (ortho/bariatrics) and screening mammography. Irresponsible and immoral and will cost lives. #COVID2019 #lockdown #itsnotalwaysaboutmoney

Dr. Princess Dennar, was the first and only Black woman at Tulane University to hold the role of program director. She was recently fired because administrators were scared white medical students wouldn’t follow or rank favorably a program with a black program director #DNRTulane

Explanations on why complications occur during M and M: 1)Transplant- Patient was on steroids. 2) Surg Onc- patient had pre-op chemo/ XRT or Avastin 3) Trauma- It was a heroic effort. 4) ACS- patient was on the medical service for a week before we got consulted. What else?

Stephanie Cohen, MD 1. Always, always go see the patient. 2. Take every consult as the opportunity to participate in the care of another human. It’s a privilege. Act that way. 3. As a surgeon you are asked help patients in their darkest moments. Own it, be accountable, and always follow through.

Ok Hockey Fans!!! This is CRAZY!! If you are in your 50s, from Boston area and watched hockey as a kid you could NEVER imagine a Stanley Cup Finals bigger finals than the Canadiens vs the Bruins. We still have a way to go…but what an AWESOME possibility!!! For the actual cup!!

If I hear, “I trust my immune system!” …one more time. 🤬 !!! The Delta variant is twice as contagious and doesn’t give a shit about your immune system.
