We've just merged in a major change! OpenSeadragon now uses WebGL when available! This is not yet released, but you can try it out if you build from master. We'd love to get people using it early to make sure it's solid! github.com/openseadragon/…

The New York Times just published a piece using OpenSeadragon: nytimes.com/interactive/20… They challenge you to slow down and spend 10 minutes with the painting, exploring it on your own. Afterwards they tell you more, giving you context to add to your own observations.
