James Gibson recently completed the Wainwrights in an amazing time of just over 6 days 5 hours. A brilliant achievement and the second fastest ever. I have looked at his splits times and compared them with the 3 other fastest completions and I find the results fascinating. (1/4).

Tomorrow at 10 AM I'm gonna have another crack at the Wainwrights before my time as a UK resident comes to an end. 214 peaks in the Lake District, ~500 km w/ ~35K meters of ascent. The saying is "go big or go home." Guess I might as well do both. 😉 live.opentracking.co.uk/jkw2022/
