Happening right now, our SFOEWD & Opportunities for All TechSF 2019 Summer Programs Graduation. 35 young adults from SF and the Bay Area completed our STEM Summer Pre-Apprenticeship Occupational Skills Training and Opportunities for All STEM Internships this summer.

Today DCYF, Mayor London Breed, SF youth, and public & private sector employers celebrated the 1st year of Opportunities for All! OFA brings together businesses, nonprofits & City agencies to offer internships, mentorship & pathways to employment for participants ages 13 to 24.

Congratulations to all of the young people that completed summer internships with Opportunities for All! Every young person in SF deserves the chance to be part of our City's economy. Through OFA, we are creating a new normal for what success looks like in all industries and sectors.

More than half of youth said they were most interested in pursuing a career in STEM. Opportunities for All is working to get youth placed in internships at tech companies to help them build the skills they need to succeed in their goals.

Our pilot EMT program has launched its 1st class with students from Bayview, HP, and Fillmore! In partnership w/ Opportunities for All & City EMT, students get trained for an EMT certification. This program helps students see, "That too, can be me." link.oewd.org/EMTpilot #workforce
