I had the pleasure of spending time today with some of our promising Ministry of Finance leaders participating in our leadership education program. So impressed by your talents and dedication! Great question and great MC. #talent #innovation #collaboration

Behind the scenes shot from yesterday’s budget lock-up w/Elizabeth Doherty who leads the Office of the Budget Ministry of Finance. Liz always models excellence & true grit, which makes her both successful & respected. We briefed 850 stakeholders via webcast on #ONBudget2023

Meet our visitors to Ministry of Finance … maybe the Queen’s Park Child Care Centre in the Frost Building has a few spots left for Canada geese … and proof that I don’t just Tweet about red-tailed fiscal hawks circling Queen’s Park!!

I had the pleasure of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Michael Starr Bldg with Dan Carter and many dedicated current and former staff. Originally the HQ of the Min of Revenue (now part of Ministry of Finance), today home to seven ministries.

Thrilled to host Peter Bethlenfalvy in Oshawa this morning to meet with Ministry of Finance teams serving the public. I’m so proud to showcase the great work of dedicated public servants and to stand behind our commitment in our ministry to put People First.

This day, more than most days, I’m reminded about the importance to build environments free of harm, where we can all truly feel safe and belong. As executive co-sponsor of OPS Pride Network it’s something that motivates me every day. #StopTheHateNow

Sharing some of the best views of Queen’s Park this morning looking out from Ministry of Finance.

Had a productive meeting yesterday at Queen’s Park with Manitoba’s Finance Minister Adrien Sala! Our governments will continue working together to ensure economic prosperity for our provinces.

Honoured to stand alongside my caucus colleagues at the OPS Pride Network flag raising ceremony to celebrate the start of #PrideMonth! Our government will continue to advocate for the values of love, freedom and acceptance. Happy #Pride!

Had the pleasure of joining today’s OPS Pride Network flag raising ceremony at Queen’s Park today. My heart is full for everything this Ontario Public Service employee network has accomplished and it drew a great crowd, including SecretaryON and great colleagues!

Photobombing a selfie with Maud Murray and great deputy minister colleagues at the Ontario Public Service #AmethystAwards, celebrating exceptional public service achievements for 30 years running.

I would like to congratulate Deputy Minister of Finance, Greg Orencsak, as he transitions to become Canada’s next Deputy Minister of Health. Greg has been a valuable advisor to me, and his work has been crucial in developing six successful budgets. Best wishes in your new role!

Pleased to give my former Deputy Minister Greg Orencsak a dignified farewell at his Queen’s Park ceremony yesterday. Greg, who first joined the OPS in 1999, was a crucial advisor and assisted me in delivering four consecutive budgets. Thank you for your incredible service!
