By surveying workers and AI experts, this paper gets at a key issue: there is both overlap and substantial mismatches between what workers want AI to do & what AI is likely to do. AI is going to change work. It is critical that we take an active role in shaping how it plays out.

A misunderstood factor in AI adoption in companies is what risk means in organizations I find the question is less "who is accountable if AI gets something wrong?" (often just the user) & more "who is willing to bear the responsibility for adapting our processes & structure"?

In this blog post about European Sovereign Cloud is an announcement of Microsoft 365 Local blogs.microsoft.com/blog/2025/06/1… (which sounds like Exchange and Sharepoint on Azure Local)

This paper shows the same effect as other studies of "cheating" with AI - if you use AI to do the work (as opposed to using it as a tutor), you don't learn as much. But note: the results are specific to the essay task - not a generalized statement about LLMs making people dumb.

1) The most clear-cut finding is fairly obvious and intuitive. If you tell people to write an essay with an LLM, they will obviously not remember what they "wrote" (or likely, wholesale copy/paste/edited from a chatbot) as well as someone *not* using an LLM.

Both true: (A) If you outsource homework to AI you will learn less & (B) If you use AI as a tutor as part of instruction, you can learn more Whenever a paper showing (A) comes out, X talk is about AI destroying our brain. When a (B) paper, it is all about AI killing school. Sigh
