News! I'm making a 5-episode narrative podcast, "Pivot Points," on inflection experiences where meditation starts getting weird. If you're a meditator & know what I mean, I'd love to interview you. If interested, fill out this form. It'll be fun, really: tally.so/r/wa1aPZ

Sacchet is putting out more papers than I can keep up with —  unironically thinking about starting a study group where we can divide the papers up and all report back to each other on them? does anyone want to do this? is anyone already?

ahhh — this helps w/ understanding meditation reports of "infinite/boundless space and consciousness." when the field of experience is without distinction, & there's no construction of 'things,' then of course the resulting phenomenology is unbounded/infinite.

This is a pretty standard sequence, & why I think it's time to get Thomas Metzinger on Ezra Klein's podcast: Ezra: what's up with advanced meditation's world-shattering experiences? Mark Epstein: It's love. Which, sure, might be the most parsimonious thing we can actually say.

Anyone around these parts have recommendations for favorite islands in Greece (or just any favorite stops in Greece broadly)? (Since there was just a large consciousness conference in Greece, I'm guessing my twitter sphere will be unusually Greek-savvy at the moment)
