We're pleased to share that we've replaced the damaged information board and had a new one installed at another entrance to the park! Thanks to Bham City Council Neighbourhood Action Co-ordination Small Grants Programme and to OurSceneCIC

We've been giving out NEW window stickers as part of #PurpleTuesday to raise awareness to shoppers about portable ramp access along KH High Street and the work we are doing with enjoykingsheath funded by #UKSPF to improve access for disabled customers. enjoykingsheath.com/accessibility/

The #purpletuesday message we have for Kings Heath businesses is that it makes business sense to improve access! Why wouldn't you?? There are so many potential local customers with access needs & £££ you might be missing out on! Tag a local business owner! enjoykingsheath #UKSPF

As part of our #UKSPF funded project with enjoykingsheath we have created resources for disabled shoppers to help them plan their visit to Kings Heath High Street. This survey was produced by local residents with access needs from their perspective: enjoykingsheath.com/accessibility/

Our final post for #PurpleTuesday We've been offering a window sticker to the 16 businesses in High Street area who have a hearing loop system installed. Our project with enjoykingsheath is also offering small grants of £200 via #UKSPF funding to businesses who might want one!

Jules Saunders El Diablo OurSceneCIC enjoykingsheath Darryl Magher 🔱 Respectfully, you need to be more mindful of who you are catching in the crossfire when you are tweeting about Kings Heath being rubbish. It doesn't look great calling Disabled People a "special interest group" & implying businesses don't want disabled people to shop with them.

We are setting up composting in Dawberry Corner Community Garden. Do you also want to turn your kitchen scraps into rich, nutritious compost? Learn the basics for the perfect compost in this free workshop. Please prebook on 07476 898419 or [email protected]

Thank you to the fab folk of The Good Yarners for the tree & fence decorations for Dawberry Corner Community Garden. Castle Cartons in Kings Road sponsored the tree & lights. It looks so pretty!
