Great to catch up with Yemisi Gibbons Chair Croydon Health Services NHS Trust former Oxleas NHS NED. Good discussions on mental health patients, ED handovers with London Ambulance Service, industrial action and Right Care Right Person and Metropolitan Police


Finally caught up with Steve James former Oxleas NHS NED now with Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust to thank him for his outstanding service and his relentless focus on Quality and patient care. Jane Wells our Director of Nursing presented some Wimbledon tennis gifts.

Visited Hazlewood and Greenwood low security wards to meet patients and staff. Good discussions on patient care, staff safety, speaking up, and patient activities. Very impressed by our Oxleas NHS teams.

Visited Oaktree Lodge Oxleas NHS older persons unit at The Memorial Hospital, some excellent activities going on, and good to meet Nicole from Estates and Janet the unit manager doing a joint H&S inspection to keep patients and staff safe.

Really good to host Caroline Clarke London Regional Director for her visit to Queen Mary’s Sidcup meeting Oxleas NHS staff & seeing the site for the new Community Diagnostic Centre to be run by Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust South East London ICS QMS is a unique site with 12 different partners working together
