I'm used to hanging out at PL academic conferences. Being at Lambda Days is a nice change of air. People here are happy.

I think my favorite Lambda Days yesterday were reports on negative results. I wish we had more of this kind of stuff in academia.

Sending emails is such an art. So much more work than it seems. So much book keeping. I think I understand now why many people simply ignore most of their emails.
