This week has marked a real milestone in my career as an ECR as I presented my research for the 1st time at an international conference (inc. an integrated demonstration of The Anxiety Model #multimodal). TY to PALA Conference 2024 for the opportunity. It’s been 👌🏻 SHU Stylistics #PALA2024
I’d like to thank everyone at #PALA2024. I was told the group was very friendly, and it was in fact true. It was a pleasure meeting the people that have inspired me aka Paul Simpson, Mick Short, Stephen Pihlaja Dan McIntyre And special thanks to the students who have helped!

A couple of weeks ago, we hosted the PALA 2024 conference at Sheffield Hallam University. It was such a pleasure to work on it with Dr. Alison Gibbons, Dr. Jess Mason and David Peplow as well as the Events Team and CCRI. I feel very lucky to have such wonderful colleagues.
