From 5A State Tennis in Salina, doubles team Autumn Ashford and Penelope Kline win their first match of the day 6-1, 6-4. It’s a great, albeit cold, day to be BRAVE!

Update from Salina: Autumn Ashford and Penelope Kline just blew up the 5A Girls State Tennis bracket, upsetting the #3 seed 1-6, 6-4, 10-5 to go 2-0 on the day!

Autumn and Penelope finished 2-1 on day one of the 5A State Girls Tennis tournament, making it to the medal round heading into tomorrow!

What an exciting Sunday night! BSHS’s own Mr. Ryan Mellick was selected as the Region 3 KS Secondary Teacher of the Year! Mr. Mellick will be one of 4 finalists who in November will be chosen as the Teacher of the Year for the entire state of Kansas! GDTBB!
