The Paranoid Style It makes me cry and smile whenever I hear it. It's brilliant.

The Paranoid Style And what did the B-52s do to that poor lobster

Peter Holsapple's that kind of guy...we chat about his brilliant new LP, The Face of 68, on #label51, The dB's reissues on Propeller Sound Recordings, TheSALTcollective, The Paranoid Style, Continental Drifters, #REM, Hootie & The Blowfish, #AlexChilton. linktr.ee/onlythreelads

Scottie Scheffler’s week started with a press conference where he questioned his level of fulfillment in golf—and it ended with his fourth major victory, this one at the Open Championship. The Paranoid Style: theringer.com/2025/07/20/gol…

Over at the Ringer, I wrote about the un-good vibrations and strange press conference that preceded Scottie Scheffler's most dominant major title triumph so far, at the Open Championship. He's getting stranger and stranger. He's getting better and better. theringer.com/2025/07/20/gol…

Lori Rubinson speaking of Scottie as we were...

The Paranoid Style Quite frankly, I LOVE it. Great piece. What does it really mean?

The Paranoid Style Agassi had a really good “I admire its purity” quote about Sampras in his book. The two ultimate dgaf deathmarch grinders were of course Vijay & Lendl. They didn’t burn out or question anything, just got old. Annika quit because she didn’t think she could get better.

For my show tonight on wrkc.kings.edu (7-9 PM ET) I shine a spotlight on the great Chris Stamey and feature tunes by Brian Lambert, James Barrett, Jimmy Montague , The Tisburys / new album out now, David C Lowery, The Paranoid Style and 19 others. You can stream from our site, so drop on by!

"Once you’ve heard about enough toxic behavior, the familiar pileups of sex and drugs start to feel less like a thrill ride and more like a dull narrative cul-de-sac." Over at the NY Times, I wrote about the new, less icky nature of music docs and biopics. nytimes.com/2025/07/24/mag…

The Paranoid Style Terrific stuff as usual! I agree with your final assessment, though at times A Complete Unknown could've at least nodded to Dylan's frame of mind at the time as I wrote afterwards:

As always, The Paranoid Style is spot-on. Great piece on all those sanitized rock documentaries we're getting of late nytimes.com/2025/07/24/mag…
