@DrKatiCordts Academic Mom, PhD The PhD Parent Parents in Academia Academic Chatterβ„’ Mothers in Science The only boundaries we're firm on are meals, snacks, and bedtime (we have a 4-year-old). We are strict about screen time because more than 1.5 hours of it & she's a maniac. But that's it. No schedule otherwise. She doesn't need to put on "real clothes." Etc.

Sorry I’ve been absent. My insomnia is the worst it has ever been meaning functioning is difficult. I have tried everything, medical, herbal etc. What works for other insomniacs? I don’t mean those who have a few bad nights, I mean those who struggle for years! Academic Chatterβ„’

Hello PhD Parents. After what feels like forever, I am back. I no longer have a feeding tube but have to be careful as more surgery likely. Slowly easing myself back into work after a long long time off. Starting small. Looking forward to catching up with you all :)
