Polar bear team have had a fantastic afternoon using their sewing skills to patch, decorate and mend items of clothing. This was inspired by make do and mend from our World War Two topic.

In the Rhino's class, we have been learning all about 'make do and mend' from WW2. During this week, we have been practicing how to stitch various materials onto clothing items to repair and recreate. Here are some of the amazing work they have produced.

Gardening Club have been planting some colourful flowers to make our playground a more attractive area. They will be regularly watering them and are looking forward to watching them grow 🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸🪷🪻

Year 5 have been exploring the work of Georgia O'Keeffe, an American artist, renowned for her close up paintings of flowers. We have now completed our own works of art on canvas, using various media to produce our own floral pictures

This week, we collected leaves from the woodland area then turned them into animals or insects (and the odd dinosaur!) Great fun and imagination 🪲🦋🐌🐜🕷️🦕

It’s been a busy afternoon in Reception, we have built our very own pond! We are looking forward to seeing who moves in to make it their home 🐌🐸🪴

GroceryAid’s School Essentials Grant is returning to support families with back-to-school costs. The application window opens 9am on Tuesday 3rd June until 5pm Thursday 5th June, and eligible colleagues can receive £150 grant per school-age child (up to 3 children per household)

Y1 are learning about reptiles, exploring how they have dry scales, but can look very different from one another. Some have legs, some don’t! Some have shells, some don’t! We were very lucky to have a visit from tortoises Humphrey & Bongo who helped bring our learning to life.
