1/2 Delighted to join gathering of #Thai #alumni, incl graduates from Trinity, UCD, DCU, NUI Galway, NUI Maynooth and other HEIS - all so positive about their experiences in #Ireland.  This strongly validates our belief that there is demand and appetite for an #alumni network

2/2 Areas we talked about included the potential for increased business and academic exchanges; ways of engaging with Irish culture, including literature and film, in Thailand; how to get involved with the GAA here; and where to find Irish cheese, butter and potato crisps…

The pleasure was all mine.  Glad to see international models and examples, including Ireland’s, being considered and discussed in the context of ongoing discussions on how politics can best serve the people.
