Gister heb ik de Talma Eykman prijs, digitaal, in ontvangst genomen. Ik kreeg deze prijs voor mijn systematic review "factors associated with successful rehabilitation in older people", geschreven tijdens het 1e masterjaar #KGW. Wat een eer, op naar publicatie van dit artikel!

Patricia Te Pas onderzocht of en hoe beweegpatronen veranderen over de tijd. Niet is het antwoord! Maar 35% van de mensen na een beroerte krijgt wel een ander beweegpatroon in de eerste 2 jaar na de beroerte.

!call for input! from #impsci researchers that have done a stepped wedge trial. Looking for some tips to inform professionals prior to the trial about the study. Especially to motivate them to start implementation as usual and dont wait for the implementation strategies

Niet kunnen of niet willen is een groot verschil. We kunnen blijven roepen dat er meer aandacht voor #preventie nodig is. Veel kennis is al aanwezig. Maar financiële schotten en economische belangen zorgen dat dit soort initiatieven niet bij de mensen terecht komt. #zorgpremie

Very proud of our latest publication. Many hours of effort from the research group and all the involved stakeholders resulted in a complete, practically and theory based strategy bundle to implement a combined lifestyle intervention for community dwelling older adults.
