Someone tell Marcus Speller and the Football Ramble immediately

Terribly sad to see Anneliese Dodds resignation. She was passionate and on top of the brief and could have done so much, but has been utterly ambushed by these brutal, Trump-style aid cuts from Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves. What an awful week. #stopthecuts #cutsthatkill

Saddened but deeply impressed to see the principled resignation of Anneliese Dodds today over the ODA cuts announced by Keir Starmer on Tues. Her integrity & commitment to the vital cause of international development could not be clearer. Let's all fight to stop the cuts.

We've just sent a message our leaders can't ignore. After Keir Starmer announced a devastating 40% cut to the international aid budget, we spelt out what the consequences will be. THESE CUTS WILL KILL. #StopTheCuts

Last week Keir Starmer followed the US by decimating the international aid budget. The 40% cut is the largest in UK history. No Prime Minister has cut aid as much as this, ever. We responded with a clear message. This is not the White House, this is Our House. #StopTheCuts

“It is hard to see the cuts as anything but a retreat from the U.K.’s international responsibilities and an unacceptable balancing of the books on the backs of the world’s most marginalised people,” Catherine Pettengell in Politico politico.eu/article/keir-s… #StopTheCuts #CutsThatKill

General Lord Richards led Britain’s Armed Forces. In today’s Daily Telegraph he writes about why cutting the Aid Budget is a dangerous mistake. Coalition for Global Prosperity telegraph.co.uk/global-health/…

Today we're highlighting the consequences of the PM's decision to slash the International development aid budget. Keir Starmer's aid cuts will kill. 600,000 fewer lives will be saved. That’s nearly the entire population of Glasgow, gone. #StopTheCuts #CutsThatKill
