‘Sent From Coventry’ - an exhibition of Paul Catherall’s linocuts celebrating some of Coventry’s post-war architecture Coventry Cathedral - featuring Coventry railway station ❤️ (which, in real life, sadly resembles an unloved mess tbh).

The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition opened this week, with ‘Underpass II’ happily on show in Room 7, no. 993. My ‘Autumn Sunflower II’ is in Room 8, no. 1110🌻:-) (Available from the RA and online: royalacademy.org.uk/exhibition/sum…) #rasummerexhibition2024 #rasummerexhibition

Finally (on the last day) got to see the fantastic Paul Catherall show ‘Sent From Coventry’ at Coventry Cathedral Really like his artwork, seeing it up close and “live” you can see the detail, variation and precision of the work.

Looking forward to this - Thursday at East London Printmakers Festival of Print!

Yesterday's art wander included a fourth stop at another branch of Eames Gallery, on Tanner Street, where I was delighted to catch these gorgeous Paul Catherall prints - Brutalism at its most joyous!

Late in the day but - happy birthday to my favourite bit of 1960s Captain Scarlet-esque architecture. This one’s fresh off the press for my new show ‘Less is More’, opening at Eames Fine Art in exactly one week’s time eamesfineart.com/viewing-room/3… #bttower #postofficetower

Opening tomorrow night - my new solo show, Less is More, at Eames Fine Art. Just finished printing these limited edition linocut ‘posters’, which will be available for sale alongside exhibited works (always to the wire 😅). Hope to see you there! eamesfineart.com/viewing-room/3…

‘Barbican Orange II’ - revisiting a brutalist old favourite. This new limited edition linocut is now on show at Eames Fine Art. For this and more from my ‘Less is More’ exhibition head to Eames until November 9. • eamesfineart.com/viewing-room/3… • paulcatherall.com/item/barbican-…

Two new linocuts of a brutalist landmark I was glad to finally visit earlier this year - Victor Pasmore’s wonderful 1969 Apollo Pavilion at Peterlee. ‘Apollo I’ (paulcatherall.com/item/apollo-i/) and ‘Apollo II’ (paulcatherall.com/item/apollo-ii/) are on show at Eames Fine Art until November 9.
