I had an unplanned hour to kill in Bologna Stazione so did the sensible thing and jogged it into Università di Bologna to see the world’s oldest university (that’s been continuously in use). Founded in 1088 it’s still looking decent in the Bolognan sunshine #HEnerd

A professional milestone achieved today with my first academic paper presentation at BERA 2024. It was good to get the value for money research out of my head and in front of an audience, and whilst the imposter syndrome was dialled up to 11 I think it went well overall 🤞🏻

The sun is shining for the University of Liverpool Welcome this week! The distributed stalls and pop ups across the whole estate has created a relaxed atmosphere and allows new students to explore the campus as they get to grips with their new surroundings. Great work by the Welcome team 👌🏻

On a recent trip to Tromsø I happened to be close by UiT Norges arktiske universitet and so I had to make a quick detour to visit the northern most university in the world! It's a hilly and compact campus, and this photo outside the main administration building doesn't do it justice
