Absolutely beautiful day for a walk on the beach. Very lucky to live near such a great place. It was warm as well- so much so there was a girl sunbathing in a bikini on the beach- in Feb!! It feels like there is light at the end of the tunnel on days like today. 🤞

Another stunning day for a walk, this time the River Mersey was calm and tranquil. Fresh air and sunshine is really good for the soul.

Mild panic today when I open a meeting invite only to find no link to Zoom or MS Teams. It turns out someone was ringing me on a phone. Do people still do that? I am sure that was something we did back in normal times!!

My views on the crisis at Steps 5 & 6 that has been created by trying to implement a standardised approach across all Leagues. It has created an imbalance that can only be sorted by reintroducing regulations that take into account regional differences. 👇

The really sad to hear of the passing of Ron Yeats. Lovely bloke with some amazing stories and a mutual connection with Formby Till I Die. He also only lived a few hundred yards from me when I was growing up. He was the reason Liverpool went all red! RIP
