I'll be signing stacks of books and putting on my best Grinch face this Friday at 6pm at Hodges Figgis for their Christmas launch, alongside my dear frenemy Paul Murray and other writers. (Yes, yes, Christmas has started early).

This is Juliet Mabey (Juliet Mabey), my editor and publisher. Since 2009, when she started publishing fiction at Oneworld Publications, she has published three Booker Prize-winning novels. LEGEND.

This is Juliet Mabey, my UK publisher who just won her third Booker Prize by publishing Paul Lynch 's novel. During my UK book tour, she drove me, hosted me at her home, carried my luggage, cooked for me. What a special person she is!The literary world is lucky to have her

It has been many years since a Booker Prize winner resonated as strongly with our customers as 'Prophet Song.' After extraordinary demand, we can confirm that Paul Lynch's haunting, page turning novel is now back in stock, with plenty of copies available. Oneworld Publications.

Tks to my neighbour Mohan Rao I read Prophet Song by Paul Lynch. The writing is as poetic & luminous as the narrative is dense & black, a luminous black. Most reviews-from the West-have focused on the 'What if' factor: could this breakdown of democracy happen here? But..

Reading this book from a spot in the Global South the book resonated differently. Large passages of the book could be transposed to the reality of life here (I am in India) & to our neighbourhood where people undertake perilous crossings to escape suffocating tyrannies.

Not a 'What if' of the future but a call to the reality of the present: of those crossing borders, of the incarcerated, of entire peoples waiting for a global response to their horrifying situation that never comes. To me the book says: 'Recognise, they are us.' Paul Lynch
