Delighted to have accepted a post as a substantive Consultant Urologist with an interest in Stone Disease by UHCW NHS Trust. Looking forward to continuing my work in this fantastic department after a year as a Locum, and serving the wonderful people of Cov & Warks WestMidsUrol
We WestMidsUrol were shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic passing of our friend Brian Kelly. A gifted surgeon, a caring doctor, a passionate trainer, and so much more. Those of us fortunate to know him will miss him intensely. He leaves behind an immense legacy in Urology
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: many senior doctors desperate to help waiting lists & would be willing to give up evenings/weekends to help out. But current tax rules will mean some could end up #PayingToWork π RT if you want Wes Streeting James Murray to fix this ludicrous tax trap
A beautiful morning with a historic view to accompany the walk to BAUS Endourology #BAUSEndo24 being held Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. Looking forward to the exciting programme thatβs been laid out.
Feels a bit odd on the first Wednesday of October to not be rotating to a different hospital for once. All the best to all the Urology registrars in WestMidsUrol as they move onto their new departments and the next stages of their training
