October 14 is celebrated as hashtag #WorldPalliativeCareDay. Since 2021, the Pediatric Palliative Care Clinic has been part of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, with its construction initiated and financed by the City of Smile Charitable Foundation.

During the conference, Dr. Ruzanna Papyan , Head of the Pediatric Oncology Department at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center 🇦🇲 , Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center co-chaired several sessions and delivered an oral presentation.

Alisa Kamalyan, head of the Psychosocial Service at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, Ministry of Health of Armenia, attended the 40th congress of the International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS) in Maastricht, Netherlands 🇳🇱.

This year, Pediatric Oncologist Shushan Hovsepyan participated with an oral presentation at the Annual Conference of the SIOP International held in the USA.

From November 3–9, Mari Hayrapetyan and Tatevik Baghdasaryan, two nurses from the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center 🇦🇲 , participated in the Salzburg OMI Seminar held at the Arenberg Castle in Salzburg, Austria. The seminar focused on palliative care (ELNEC).
