I’m going to miss this sound over the next year or so… RAF BBMF Lancaster PA474 signs off for the season, and for at least the next year, for her major service. We’ll see her again, hopefully in season 2027, in a new livery. Thank you “Leader” ❤️

Just got back to London Waterloo to catch the train home after the hospital appointment. Even though vision has not improved as expected; the rest of the complex eye conditions have stabilised and there are no new signs of inflammation and infection on the retina and optic (1/3)

Nerve in the left eye and pressure is within the normal range in the left eye. Cataract has not worsened in the right eye Touchwood and no new signs or symptoms. The team which includes all the different departments I'm under are discussing what is next in way of treatment (2/3)

And discussing whether they can lower or take me off the immuno medicine. Back again on Friday for check up with the glaucoma team and then for uveitis clinic later on in the month. Thank you for all of your words of support and prayers as I was very anxious this morning

So the hospital appointment went well. Even though vision is not going to improve anymore, pressure has stabilised and visual field test has slightly improved from last time I had it done 4 months ago. Next appointment at that clinic in 3 months time

I’m so tired of people from other countries, cultures and societies coming here and then demanding that we respect, accommodate and adapt to their culture, traditions and customs. Yes, societies evolve and change, but this is my house and you will respect it, or you will leave.
