You would naturally believe England won 3-2 on penalties out of 5, nobody would guess that they had 28 penalties each #SWEENG #WEURO2025

You know your squad is too big when you can play two matches in one day with only 3 under-21s named and both Crowley & Hogan aren’t playing #MKDons

Surely, Harry Smith is low risk for the lone striker role? 66% of aerial duels won last season, and 34 G/A in the previous two seasons. I know it doesn’t fulfil the criteria of buying players who could play in L1 or Championship, but a lower-cost option #MKDons

So basically, big target man & strong aerial CB wanted and some depth at LB & RB. I’m glad to hear that Warne is desperate for a big 9 #MKDons

Champs & L1 CBs that fit the mould of a Warne CB: Dominic Iorfa, Sheff Wed, 6ft 3, 65% aerial duels won Dan Scarr, 6ft 2, Wrexham, 75% aerial Charlie Goode, 6ft 5, Stevenage, 78% aerial Chris Forino, 6ft 3, Bolton, 76% aerial Carl Piergianni, 6ft 1, Stevanage, 76% aerial #mkdons

Is that JT that doesn’t win the header? I’ve said over and over that he isn’t a full back. Tripp needs to go out on loan, he looked terrible against Peterborough too #MKDons

Four LB’s who could come in a do a jobs, who have been playing at a higher level: Josh Ruffels (free) Marvin Johnson (free) James Brophy (Cambs) Greg Leigh (Oxford) Ben Jackson from Barrow would also be a perfect signing #MKDons

RBs that are playing at a higher level which could come in to challenge Gethin Jones: Joel Senior (Bristol R) Sean Clare (Leyton) Liam Bennett (Cambs) #MKDons

I think he’d be a great signing - strong, good in the air, aggressive and high work rate. Would also help in set pieces. He’s very versatile too, played nearly as many matches at as a RB as he has as a striker #MKDons

Hmmm I’ll believe it when it see it tbh. He’s moaned about not enough crosses coming in but he’s 5ft 11 and has averaged a 27% aerial duel success rate. I can’t see him playing up top ahead of Callum Paterson and Aaron Collins 🤷🏻‍♂️ #MKDons

He was the CB I picked out who least fits what Warne looks for in a defender. He’s not particularly tall or strong, nor strong in the air and was brought in as a ball-playing defender. Though if you lost him, you also lost a player who could fill in as a CDM? #MKDons

Potential headache for Warne & something I hadn’t thought about - you’ll struggle to play “Warne ball”, direct, channel balls & fast transitions if teams sit back & let you have 60%+ possession #MKDons Warne’s teams have only had over 50% possession 4 out of 9 seasons, the
