Such a great micro lesson about Cognitive load theory and the difference between how a novice and an expert problem solve. Nidhi Sachdeva, PhD

This is such a great share. Thank you to Nidhi Sachdeva, PhD researchED Canada Jim Hewitt for providing such great information.

I'm so happy this is the bestselling Canadian Kids book nationwide. As an OG tutor, I give this book to my students for Christmas. They ❤️ this book and end up buying the series. David A. Robertson

I love how counterintuitive this is. We need to forget to learn through retrieval practice. This is why spaced retrieval practice is so important. Thank you for sharing Carl Hendrick

Novices are not little experts. To expect them to solve a problem without the right tools/knowledge only causes frustration. Learn about How Learning Happens by following Nidhi Sachdeva, PhD Jim Hewitt Carl Hendrick Paul A. Kirschner

I have this amazing book edited by Nancy Young Ed.D. & Jan Hasbrouck, Ph.D. I love that it covers the major topics in reading and writing written by subject experts. Each chapter has key points. It is very clearly and well laid out. A DEFINITE must have.

This can't be said enough! I just learned about CLT last year thru ONlit.org Nidhi Sachdeva, PhD Jim Hewitt It changed how I taught reading and writing for the better. I continue to learn from Zach Groshell Carl Hendrick Paul A. Kirschner
