We may be small, but that’s our superpower. It means every bottle is exclusive, every release is limited, and every drop carries the unmistakable character of Nonesuch. Whisky that’s a little rarer, a little bolder—and made by real people who love what they do. #whisky

Loved the surprise back catalogue drams on the Glenfiddich Whisky tour Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival The Glenfiddich Aged over 8 years was distilled in 1960s using direct coal fired stills with worm tub condensers and bottled in the 1970s. Caoran Reserve 12yo - a peated cask finish from 2010 🥃

thenim IMHO there were always structural weaknesses in the category - too much sourcing, misleading labels, and everything priced just too high. For me, the value wasn't there once you looked under the hood.

Global whisky downturn forces huge Speyside malting project to be shelved for up to five years pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/moray/… Industry bosses said the downturn is due to global "tariff barriers" and has forced businesses to think twice about new investment

You might think that Orkney has only ancient history to share from the amount of coverage of Skara Brae or the standing stones. Clearly, the Italian Chapel is a bit more modern, but why is it here in Scotland's northern isles and why does it look so odd?

It's the interior that's impressive though, the men were lucky to have the artist Domenico Chiocchetti amongst them. He created the painting of the Virgin Mary based on a prayer card his mother had given him before heading off to war.
