Deadlock changes are coming but it might be a different look than we had imagined it when we started looking. We want to keep sound sensor as is, for now, but will be looking to empower players that are mastering her reactive, yet aggressive, stall potential

As players have mastered Deadlock's sentinel style, weaker flank watch paired with strong stall/kill moments, it feels like we're seeing players fit her into comps and strategies that are different than what a Cypher or Killjoy squad might look like

We've experimented a bunch of crazy shit with Sound Sensor and honestly... just couldn't find something that felt right. I think we've cooked on something light but sweet though that will let Deadlock players do more Deadlock stuff. Can't wait for y'all to try it out soon :D

For what it's worth the balance team generally agrees with this take - we're investigating ways to make this better but we're too early to commit to any details or get into specifics unfortunately.
