We are organizing a hackathon march 22/23 at campus biotech Geneva. Like the good old gaming nights only with neuroscience this time!

Koch et al. apply computational approaches to the structural whole brain connectome in stroke to identify (1) features that predict whether individual patients will show natural recovery, and (2) the distributed networks relevant to such recovery. bit.ly/3B4qI0e

A young woman presented with severe acute necrotizing encephalopathy (ANE) and was successfully treated with tocilizumab. Her mother experienced recurrent mild ANE; Still, RANBP2 was tested negative suggesting additional genetic causes of ANE: link.springer.com/article/10.100…

Koch & Frey et al. introduce a novel way of analysing brain organisation by integrating neurotransmitter densities with structural connections, and show that damage to dopaminergic pathways has a significant impact on stroke recovery. tinyurl.com/favu8zve
