Israeli Minister Amichai Eliyahu at the 7th Sovereignty Youth Conference in Sderot: "You want sovereignty? Yes, then roar it out. We want Judea and Samaria. Yes. We want Syria. Yes. We want Lebanon. Yes. We want Gaza. So we need to bring it on. This is the spirit".

My father-in-law has just died. He succumbed to his injuries. No one from outside of Gaza stepped in to help us. I’m in eternal grief.

Of all the unsupportable Gaza arguments, “they could’ve built a paradise” is among the most pernicious. Gaza has lived under steady blockade/siege for years. There’s one power plant & a constant scrounging for fuel. Cement, wood, food, etc imports all restricted by Israel.

No one in Gaza should be subjected to hunger and inhumane treatment. No one. Including Evyatar David, Rom Braslavski and all remaining hostages. Those who have only now expressed concern after weeks of atrocity denial when it involved Palestinians are being predictably awful

Israel’s starvation campaign is an indiscriminate policy by nature. It affects everyone, including the hostages. It must end and be held to account Hostages should be released, especially if kept in unsanitary, unhealthy conditions and subjected to inhumane treatment

Shocking. I truly did not know any of this until today: 1/ Israeli forces still withhold the body of Palestinian activist Odeh Hadalin, killed last week by a settler in the occupied West Bank. 2/ Seven of his family members who witnessed the killing remain in detention. A nurse

“This landscape of destruction looks otherworldly. Yet it’s not. It is this world. And what is happening may yet come to define one of its darkest eras. One that casts a stain on humanity that will endure for generations.” — ITV News, with aerial footage of Gaza.

It’s estimated Gaza had as much, likely more, explosives dropped on it as Dresden, Hamburg and London in WW2. Little wonder it looks like this. Not filmed with anything fancy, just an iPhone through a window. There’s no avoiding the scale of destruction. itv.com/news/2025-08-0…
