We received a donation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and teamed up with Oshawa Fire Services and GlobalMedic to improve public safety in Oshawa. Together we distributed 34 Carbon Monoxide Detectors, 90 Smoke Detectors, and 109 Carbon Monoxide & Smoke Detectors.

Brother David Meyer made the ultimate sacrifice today while fighting a garage fire in Chicago. My prayers tonight are with his family, friends, and all of our IAFF Local 2 brothers and sisters who served alongside him.
