BREAKING: A *new air traffic control equipment outage* caused the FAA to implement a ground stop for Newark flights this morning. FAA advisories show the ground stop lasted for about 45 minutes. This comes after 90-second-long radar and radio outages on 5/9 and 4/28.

NEWS: The FAA is investigating Monday's air traffic control radio outage at Denver Center. The FAA says "both transmitters that cover a segment of airspace" went down for about 90 seconds, but controllers used a backup frequency and no aircraft lost separation.

JUST IN: The FAA is investigating ANOTHER radio outage at the troubled Newark air traffic approach control facility. FAA says Newark TRACON "lost radio frequencies for approximately two seconds" today around 11:35 a.m. EDT. "All aircraft remained safely separated." More to come.
