Most satisfying part of my job: Pete Hooper a stroke survivor greeted me with a big hug for changing his life at the parliamentary reception yesterday. Pete made a full recovery following a thrombectomy procedure UHNM NHS Trust 🏥 Pete is supporting #SavingBrains thrombectomy campaign.

Thank you Sir @Neill_Bob for discussing the importance of mechanical thrombectomy in #PMQs today. We look forward to a relevant minister, like Steve Barclay or Helen Whately MP accompanying Sir Bob on his next visit to a thrombectomy centre.

I and colleagues are planning an 16-day expedition to climb the Mera Peak , a 6,476 metres peak in the Himalayas for UHNM Charity 🏥 to raise funds for a new angiographic suite to support the 24/7 Thrombectomy Service at UHNM. Please donate here… justgiving.com/page/sanjeev-n…

I'm fundraising for Stroke Association. Check out my JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving justgiving.com/fundraising/pe…

Phew, that was tough 🥵. Delighted to finish in 2.41 at the Potters Arf. It's three years since I had a massive stroke which should have killed me. But thanks to the fantastic stroke team at UHNM NHS Trust 🏥 I'm back in the race. Stroke Association #savingbrains

Nobody can explain why SPEEDY matters better than stroke survivor Peter Hooper. Please listen. Thank you all for making a difference 🫶🏻 🙏🏻Peter Hooper West Midlands Ambulance Service #HelpUsHelpYou Sanjeev Nayak UHNM NHS Trust 🏥 #savingbrains podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/str…

Three years on from my life-saving thrombectomy and a year on from Stroke Association's #SavingBrains campaign and thousands of eligible patients are still missing out on the game-changing treatment. 6,903 in the last year alone.

I hate it when I see a micromoth in the field (Denbighshire) and manage to get a record shot, and then think ooh, that's distinctive, that'll be easy to ID. Hahahaha.... thought it was a small very pale Crambid, erring towards the knot-horns now, but stumped. Help UK Moth Identification 🙏

Couple of moths which are new to me and possibly new to the area (Flintshire). A Rustic Shoulder-knot from the moth trap; and a Cloaked Pug disturbed in the forest. I'd be really grateful if you could confirm my IDs UK Moth Identification before I log them on iRecord 🙏
