This is more important than any other news. Millions rely on St. Micheal’s ER when on death’s doorstep. A problem at St. Mike’s is a problem for all of us. There is no rational world where ER doc hours in Ontario should be reduced. Make Dr Petrosoniak’s concerns go viral.

Andrew Petrosoniak Doug Ford Sylvia Jones Unity Health Toronto Christopher Hicks David Carr Raghu Venugopal MD This is an outrageous decision that will negatively impact patient care, particularly with our patient population that is extremely vulnerable already. Patients deserve better than this.

We support Ontario’s emergency physicians in caring for the province’s most seriously ill and injured patients. For many without a family doctor, the ER has become the front door to the health care system. 1/2

"Trust the process" rings a bit hollow, when the same leaders who brought us here are now being entrusted to solve a problem they neglected into creation. Doug Ford Sylvia Jones Andrew Petrosoniak

Huge congrats to my brother on launching Salty Hair and making headlines with his real‑ocean‑water sea‑salt spray! Very cool to see this from idea to product! And it's Canadian no less! ctvnews.ca/atlantic/nova-…

Our department also lost physician hours several months ago, despite climbing patient numbers and complexity. We saw an immediate increase in wait times, which we know is not good for patient outcomes. This is so short sighted and will result in harm to Ontarians. CAEP

📈 CPR data capture in the ED just got a major upgrade. Using QI methods, this team boosted CPR data availability in non-traumatic arrests from 48.7% → 89.1%! ✅ Better rate & depth ✅ Improved compression fraction ❌ CPR pauses <10s unchanged 🛠 Interventions: • EMS-to-ED

Shocking and short sighted public policy by the MOH of Ontario. The impact will be even longer wait times and will undoubtedly harm patients.

Emergency medicine doesn’t wait. That’s why Dr. David Carr  (Ep 5) says new residents don’t need more speed. They need structure, backup, and brutal honesty. 📊 ER burnout? Over 50%. 🕒 Avg. delay in care? 18 mins. 💡 But systems—not doctors—usually fail first. This Canada
