Building the Family Justice Academy made so much sense for young people and their families who needed help. The Academy taught us to think more holistically about the things that push our young people off track and to recognize that none of their concerns exist in a vacuum.

It was pleasure to celebrate Pastor Kobby Sarpong's 62nd birthday on Sunday. His faith and leadership have been impactful in Prince George's County. It was delightful celebrating with him.

Today, WMATA rolled out its Better Bus Network Redesign. We'll prioritize the new routes for County Taxpayers, for senior buildings and facilities, and to meet the needs of the Disability Community through a messaging campaign so they know what the new routes are.

Saturday, I joined “Kicking Goals for Change Event” with talented soccer players enrolled in the C&J Migrant Solutions Foundations and Elite Soccer Youth Development Academy. I love starting my day meeting with young people who are learning teamwork. Elevating our Youth!
