Yes Florence Eshalomi MP!!! 👏👏👏 So good to see the work of ABIANDA & Milk Honey Bees🐝 highlighted in UK Parliament - both organisations doing brilliant work, spearheaded by exceptional founders & advocates for girls & young women in Abi Billinghurst & Ebinehita Iyere 🙌

We welcome Ministry of Justice recognition of major issues across the justice system that need long overdue redress. While the youth justice system is not experiencing the same prison capacity issues, there are still grave concerns for children being sentenced. (/1)

The chancellor’s autumn budget statement will seriously impact the charity and voluntary sector. We're urging chancellor Rachel Reeves to protect charities from increased employer National Insurance Contributions. Add your name to our letter to the chancellor today. 👇👇

Delighted to see the Young Advocates project featured as a case study in this Youth Justice Board report - the project was delivered in partnership AYJ & Leaders Unlocked between 2020-24. It still warms my heart to see & hear what the young people are continuing to achieve 💛

Delighted that Susannah Hancock Youth Justice Board will lead an independent review into girls in custody - this issue has been at the centre of my research, PhD & policy work for many years, so I look forward to engaging alongside others ✊ An opportunity for long overdue change!

🙋♀️What about the girls? Dire, desperate & unsurprising findings in today's HMI Prisons report lays bare the urgent need for change. The independent review by Susanna Hancock Youth Justice Board & consequent govt action must now direct & deliver this. hmiprisons.justiceinspectorates.gov.uk/hmipris_report…
