.CNBC today Paul Tudor Jones told Andrew Ross Sorkin that our tech companies building AI were started by “men of great moral character.” Please. Hot or Not, anyone? They discussed needing money and new policy to help these “great moral men” safely commercialize their inventions. 1/3

He described all the “AI modelers” essentially clutching at their pearls over unsafe AI. “They’re buying land in the midwest and stocking up.” Poor AI modelers, bravely telling truth while just doing their jobs, toiling away on Maggie’s farm. More “great moral men” no doubt. 2/3

Lack of investment in AI security IS a crisis; it IS a policy issue. But it’s also a crisis of personal conscience, character and ethics. We’re being failed by these “great moral men” & their well-heeled buddies who deflect responsibility away from the companies and modelers. 3/3
