As the Covid Inquiry continues to unveil a Tory Govt that was focused solely (it seems) on turning a national crisis into an opportunity to make money, I have one question: at what point does this become criminal? People died. Public money stolen. When? bbc.com/news/articles/…

"Shameful" The Inquiry hears from expert virologist Prof. Deenan Pillay that the Government chose to spend billions on private consultants from Deloitte instead of listening to experts. The labs they set up have since been dismantled. 'We've been left with nothing'.

Why are BBC News (UK) and BBC Politics and other UK media giving next to zero coverage of this scandal? You can bet a million dodgy PPE contracts it would be all over the front pages (like a badly fitting covid mask) if it wasn't their Tory chums. #gmb #newsnight #jeremyvine #C4News

Good to be concerned about nickel mining; but be balanced in reporting the issue, not using EV to push an agenda. 70% of Nickel is used in Stainless Steel; 10% in Alloys for Turbos, Valves, Exhausts & Spark plug,10% in Batteries & about 5% for plating bbc.com/news/articles/…

Paris could see temperatures of 45°C next week, taking into account the heat island effect, with tropical nights also. Europe and the Mediterranean are experiencing the fastest warming in recorded human history. Hard not to ask: what will 2035 look like at this rate?

Well this is strange 🧐 Yesterday the The Telegraph had an article about Ofgem's much-needed £24bn investment in upgrading the gas and electricity networks. The author correctly stated that the *net increase* on an energy bill would be £24/yr by 2031 (£104/yr added, £80 saving):
