After my Dataverse Project talk at #FOSDEM Michael Hanke 🐘 @[email protected] and Yaroslav Halchenko from DataLad @[email protected] offered me and @Waaaloo beers and great conversation. Let's integrate!
Our daily Dataverse Project standup was cancelled so does that mean I have to wait another day before sharing these Belgian chocolates?!? They were a surprise gift from the awesome #FOSDEM organizers after I gave my talk. Thank you, FOSDEM @[email protected]!!
What's this?!? A pull request from a friend to replace my early 90s design for #DataverseTV into the 21st century?!? Will it get merged?!? Dataverse Project enthusiasts are on the edge of their seat! github.com/IQSS/dataverse…
Yes! The Dataverse Project community has @poi_ki_lo_therm from Zentralbibliothek to thank for launching the first production installation of Dataverse on Docker and Kubernetes! I would *love* to hear him give a talk at the 6th annual Dataverse Community Meeting at Harvard in June!
Ahh!!! It’s me! It’s Dataverse Project! It’s Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science! It’s Harvard University! It’s any creative person! It’s all of us! Save me from the crazy ideas! #crazyidea
I had lunch with China Data Lab from Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science and Harvard CGA yesterday and he said many of their #Coronavirus datasets in Harvard Dataverse are #openaccess (doi:10.7910/DVN/MR5IJN pictured). For more information please see "Resources for COVID-19” projects.iq.harvard.edu/chinadatalab/r… #COVID19
I got home yesterday after 12 nights in McLean Hospital, one of the best psychiatric hospitals in the US. With medication and support I'm hoping that my first manic episode will also be my last. Ask me anything. My blog has many more details: blog.greptilian.com/2020/03/18/cla…
I'm back! Hacking on Dataverse Project and working (remotely, with cats) at Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science. Feels good.
It's very cool of Harvard University to send me a little note in the mail celebrating my 15 years there. They also let you pick out a gift! My kids are lobbying hard for the ice cream maker.
