The world is soaked in sin. Violence, mayhem, hate, and murder abound. May the Lord be so gracious as to strengthen His people, revive the church, and deliver a Great Spiritual Awakening to our country.

The murder of Charlie Kirk is tragic on all levels. A young husband, father, conservative, Christian engaging in public political debate. An innocent man who spoke unashamedly about Jesus Christ. Cut down by someone who wanted to silence him. It should never be this way. Tragic.

On Sunday, I'd already planned to preach from Philippians 1:21-26 on "A Well-Lived Life." Given the gloom of yesterday and the observance of today, it seems so very appropriate. Hoping to encourage the people of Westside Church to use their days with boldness for Christ.
