9 years ago, the unthinkable occurred on the southern high plains, as an outbreak of intense tornadoes ravaged the Texas panhandle. The crazy part was how photogenic these tornadoes were. I never imagined I would see a tornado and the whole supercell under the stars.

Excellent winter sunset in Brunswick, Maine last night. I pulled off of Route 1 at the Androscoggin Swinging Bridge, where I knew I would have a good view of it. Orographic lift from the White Mountains created these amazing clouds!
