ConGARtulations Faith Kelly on successfully defending her Master’s research on native fishes in social media! GarLab’s first grad student! 10 years of Minnesota DNR Twitter data showed game fish featured more often than nongame fish, BUT engagement was the same for both groups!

Excited to announce that mcnulty_lab is relocating to Ecology, Evolution & Behavior at UMN. UMN Anthropology was a wonderful home for 17 years. I will miss the amazing faculty, staff, and students there. But I'm not going far and can't wait to start this new adventure!

I'm so sick of these so-called "undecided voters" with their "oh, I don't know enough about her." You know she didn't RAPE anyone. You know she wasn't convicted of 34 felonies. You know she hasn't been indicted on 88 charges. You know she doesn't want to be a dictator. You know

Stripe-throated Yuhina is a small but beautiful glory of Himalayan midhill forests, often indicating a healthy forest ecosystem. Its nasal-sounding call helps locate the bird easily and is Nepal's largest of the similar-looking half-a-dozen species. (PC: Sugam Tamrakar).

I'm a big fan of studies linking experimental evidence with phylogenetic comparative approaches, particularly when they're about BIRD NESTS and tritrophic species interactions. journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/73
