I had the good fortune of meeting Prince Griffin and Gavyn Monday this morning. They both came to PickUp USA Fitness Lee's Summit at 6:00am to get their workout in before heading to work. Very impressive and dedicated young men. Northwest Athletics they’re representing you well!!!

There’s a guy that comes to PickUp USA Fitness Lee's Summit every Saturday afternoon and stays until I close-up (I can count on him staying until we close). Today he left early and when I gave him a hard time about it he said he had a wedding to go to. Any guess what my next question was? 😜

Today, every college basketball coach should be showing their team the ending of the Bears / Commanders game from last night. Three reminders: 1. Play to the horn (:00) 2. Respect your opponent, and fans (if not, sports will humble you) 3. It’s 2024…everything is on video

I know it’s March Madness for basketball fans, but I just fixed the toilet at my gym all by myself. This is a true upset, a major Cinderella story comparable to a 16 seed knocking off a 1 seed…I’m not going to cut down a net or order a ring for it, but man it felt good 🏀🔧🪛🚽

The coach in me was losing my mind as to why the Cavs only had 3 guys on the line, with the game on the line (Haliburton missed, got his rebound and hit the game winner). But NBA rules only allow 3 (different from H.S. & college). Still a reminder that little things matter🏀.
