During our Offslite, I've been told two things: 1. I should go to Disneyland Paris dressed as a princess (easy) 2. I should post our regular work on AI, developer tooling and management more regularly (hard)

Railcasts helped me at joining startups. It stopped abruptively, and always wondered what happened to Ryan Bates He's proposing a retrospective in three parts here rbates.dev Weirdly, I feel quite satisfied to be on the verge of getting answers to why it stopped 🔎

A year ago, I was telling myself web technologies were somewhat slow-moving. Today, we have an internal test: an AI assistant is watching and answering questions on Slack based on our Slite knowledge base. What a prophecy 🪄

When discussing with employees form other companies, they are almost always traumatised by a management situation. I'm wondering if "trained and candid managers" would be a thing for job offers?

In all this AI drama, Microsoft still managed to convince us to create an Azure account, and we wrestled with filling in their horrible forms, but we’re in! We’ll start testing OpenAI hosted on Azure. A great upside: it’ll be located in Europe 🇪🇺

“The more senior you are, the more you'll be expected to organize and publish at the next level.” Absolutely loved the Produce/Organize/Publish framework by Shreyas Doshi that Gergely Orosz mentions on his recently launched book. Produce -> Organize -> Publish (or Self-Promote)

Exciting to have Gemini released, with comparisons benchmarks. I wonder if in a few years, a few metrics like CPU RAM HDD will be common for people to understand and rate different AI. Otherwise, how Apple can say its AI assistant is 80% more performant on the iPhone 18.

We're launching today a wiki generator. Based on a small discussion, we offer a structure and its content to start your knowledge base. It's just an open prototype for now, but we'll sure integrate a few things in Slite in the months to come. Test it! slite.com/micro-apps/wik…
