And we’re in! We got the keys to the Round Chapel this morning and we’re very happy to say that most of the 180+ beers and 23 real ciders have arrived. Now to start building the stillage to put them on before we open on Tuesday. See you here?

Ale Be Back! It’s all go at the 40th Pig’s Ear East London Beer and Cider Festival. We opened the doors to an expectant queue at noon and we’re having a fantastic first day. We’re open till Saturday so come try some of the finest beer known to man.

Day two of the 40th Pig’s Ear East London Beer and Cider festival is go! We’ve got 98 casks passed by our hard-working quality control team, plus loads of cider, key-keg, bottles, cans, 0.5% beer and wine too!

New pub in branch, having opened an hour ago! The European on Lea Bridge Road is owned by Remarkable Pubs, who have done a lovely job on the refurb of what used to be the Spark House and the Drum (a Wetherspoons pub) before it.

We’ll be having a social at this tomorrow night for anyone who would like to join us. Always a fabulous night - we’re so lucky to have them in our branch.

If you’re after a pint tonight (Tues 18), our soon-to-be much-missed friends at Beerblefish Brewing Co. are opening one last time from 5.30-10.30pm to try finish off their remaining cask and kegs at just £3 a pint. Still a great selection to be drunk and bottles available with 20% off too.

We’ve had a lovely time being hosted with tea and cake by the Hackney Speaker at the presentation of the cheque for the money everyone who came to Pig’s Ear 2024 helped us raise for her charities Rising Tide Trust and Hackney Migrant Centre. Thanks everyone!

Another excellent line-up of beers at the May Day Ale Night at LOFC Supporters 🏆 tomorrow night. We’ll be having a social from 6pm, open to CAMRA members and non-members alike so come join us.
