Spent two exciting days attending Synchrotron Electrochemistry workshop organised by Diamond Light Source, presenting our work on operando XAS and learning the frontier development in this important field. Plus a visit to Ludmilla Steier, my 3rd trip to Oxford is truly fruitful!

Thanks to University Global Partnership Network funding from University of Surrey I got to visit Pablo SebastiƔn FernƔndez again last week for in-depth FTIR in glycerol electrolysis. So nice to hear all the fundamental studies being conducted there, and we have been provided with very Brazilian group breakfast. Thank you all!

I am so lucky and delighted to participate in the sandpit to meet everyone, learn about different research disciplines and develop potential collaborations. Thank you IGNITE Network+ for this amazing opportunity, I will take home with a bucket of exciting ideas!

Our workshop at University of Surrey on Net-Zero Circular Economy had been a great success, with 11 multidisciplinary talks covering multi-scale energy and chemical conversion. Thank you all the speakers and participants to make this happen, and support from IAS Surrey University Global Partnership Network

On Monday the Women in Engineering Society hosted Rana Marrington from RDE Uni of Surrey in SurreyMechEngSci to share career advice beyond academia to our PGRs. Having hopped between the two worlds (academia/industry) myself, it is nice to see our PGRs seeking advice early on.

A truly fruitful visit to so many world-leading institutions and research groups in Japan. Thank you Magda Titirici for organising this amazing trip. Iāve learnt so much and really look forward to starting new collaborations!
