I feel for Rob Krimmel and Saint Francis. Just a hard fought game that slipped out of their fingertips at the end. The last few minutes did the Red Flash in, but they should have nothing but pride for what was an impressive stretch to get within one possession of playing Auburn.

LIU tried this play (down 3) in the final seconds of the NECT semis second half, but Chris Moncrief was able to swat the ball out of bounds. This time Moncrief went up but couldn’t get thru traffic to affect the flight of the ball. Brutal bounces for SFU at the end.

Thrilled that Anquan Hill is back, but should I be more concerned that other players haven't announced they are back yet? 😨

This is sad to see from the face of the university, but I’m happy that Rob at least went out on top with a NEC tournament championship and an appearance in the NCAA tournament. Great coach and an even better guy. I’m curious if his next endeavor will be in basketball.
