devastated to hear Rick Buckler has died aged 69. I met him when he was playing for The Gift at Peterborough met lounge. Later, when Bruce Foxton joined Rick and Russell Hastings, you had 2/3rds of The Jam and a singer as good as Weller; those gigs as From the Jam were awesome

Today I’ve heard one of the all time greats of railway photography Les Nixon has passed away. A truly lovely man who was always so, so helpful. He took this pic, one of my all time favourite railway pictures. I will miss him.
