Smithson Valley softball beat 2024 5A state runner up Harlingen South in 3 to advance to the QFs. SV trying to be the 1st SA area team to win #uilstate titles in football & SB in the same athletic year. They & Castroville Medina Valley are the only in SA area to ever win both.
